Amanda Knox trial has ended in Italy and I am stunned at the comments her family is making about the Italian judicial system in light of the verdict. Even if they had justification for their comments, and I am not sure they do, they are stupid to make such comments when they are going back to that same judicial system on a appeal. In the meantime, they are working very hard to get Hillary Clinton involved. I hope she is smart enough to stay out of it.

There are some questions about the integrity of the prosecutor...i think they have to challenge the result...i am stunned by the length of time it takes to resolve a case there...an appeal, if granted, won't come to court until october of next year...toooo looong!

Its no better here. Apparently in Italy almost every case is seen on appeal. That has to make for a huge workload.

I have been reading some of the details connected with the Knox trial and I am convinced she did it...there is just too much weird behavior on her part after the murder, and too many inconsistencies with Sollecito and his testimony.

While reading one blog, at one point, they posted photos of the Amalfi coast. One of my biggest regrets when in Europe was not taking a drive down from Rome. I was in the Cote d'Azur and some Danes I knew were going to Rome and then down the coast. Meanwhile, some German friends were going North, and I opted to go North. Really wish I had taken the drive with the Danes.......the drive between Roma and Napoli has to be one of the most scenic urban/rural drives in the world but I didn't know it at the time.
