Ah, those things. makes sense. brave to flip the bird in L.A. in those days on the road. not many things better in this world than driving along Santa Monica Blvd (if you aren't in a hurry) or visiting the ... uhm, that thing that goes out into the ocean and has rides and shops on it. before some of it washed away, there was one of the best rock stores in the world there. and on the beach you could get the best corn dog and lemonade. but I reckon you know all that.
