New Borland sales "are much larger sales for us than we've been used to in
the past. We've come a long way from a $99 shrink-wrap box to where
we're now being able to land accounts in the $100,000 to $200,000
category, all the way to over $1 million," said Yocam.

In the past, Borland's revenue came from its Delphi and C++Builder
products. "Now, with the introduction of JBuilder, our industrial-strength Java
development tool, we're seeing phenomenal success already," Yocam said.

The product was only out two-and-a-half weeks in the second quarter "and
we sold right out of it. That was just our standard and professional version.
This quarter we introduce our client/server version of JBuilder and we have
great expectations for that," he said.
