I have probably only been in church 5-6 times in the last 10 years, usually Christmas. The majority of people I have met in my life who were balanced and happy were regular church goers and apparently good followers. I am not keen on organized religion for many of the reasons you stated. But when you look at the issues facing the inner cities I certainly wonder if this would be going on if people where learning and following better the teachings of Jesus. Read recently about the gang rape of the HS girl set up by one of her enemies? How does this happen? Did you read about the little girl recently killed after being raped in SC?
