Nice try, but you forgot to ask Google.

Large parts of Alaska (and the Bering Land Bridge) have historically remained cold, dry, and ice-free during glacial maximums. The main glacial masses were centered in Canada, Greenland, Scandanavia, and western Siberia. When the big freeze hits, I'll just move north to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Valley and go hunting for woolly mammoths. We have 1/6 of the world's coal reserves to keep us warm... ;)
