NO. I have no idea what Bema's options were. Only Bema knows that. I most definitely believe that without a major JV partner to develop CC we would be in a world of hurt far worse than we're in now. With a major involved, the odds are high CC will be developed and we will own financed ozs, not a maybe, someday mine.

The next six months are prime drilling time in Chile. That's where I see the best chance for these stocks to move up IF the POG gets off its back and shows any signs of life. If gold stays down here or sinks further, we will remain in a bear market and nothing is gonna move these stocks, with the possible exception of another CC type find and that is a one-in-a-million shot. CC size deposits don't happen very often.

I agree with you, Placer will be looking for higher grade, easily accessible gold which translates to low cost production. BUT, Placer is not afraid of copper so more sulphide gold/copper deposits on Aldebaran or Quebrada will mean low cost ozs, in my opinion.
