There was another example of enthymematic argumentation in there. The piece started out as about opposition to nationalizing health care. Then they threw in Carter, who opined that opposition to Obama, not to nationalizing health care, was racist. The elided bit then was that opposing nationalizing health care would be the same thing as opposing Obama, which was claimed to be racist. Thus nationalizing health care is racist. But opposing Obama in some cases actually is racist, so the piece ends up giving cover to actual racists.

Sneaky devils. The distortion would blow right by just about everyone. But fortunately you have me to point it out. <gg>
