Get out the suntan lotion Grandpa! We too are sunny and bright and colder than a witches tit (as my dear Dad used to say.) I had a hummer stay for over a month last year during one of the coldest winters on record. I worried and fretted about the little guy every night as the temps were in the low single digits. (we even hung out a light bulb at night in case he needed some warmth, but I don't think he used it?) Every morning, there he was begging for a meal. I have no idea how he did it, but there he was. My little male hummer is sitting in the plumb tree and making trips to the feeder every two or three minutes right now as I type.
