My take on this...

>>
Yahoo_chat asks: What's the outlook for next week?
Jim Cramer: Next week should be weak again, until we get all of the stocks in stronger hands we must wash out the quick buck artists and get more money into the hands of mutual funds<<

WOW AMAZING AINT IT?? The fuds dont have enough shares yet so lets shake out the little guy putting the fear of god into them. This means the next wave is going to be even stronger than the one on monday/tuesday. It just might backfire on them like the last time and people like soros lost a bundle..

>>
Vik_B asks: What can we expect from the markets (mainly ) Nasdaq over the next 10 days or so ?
Jim Cramer: NASDAQ will also retest <<

Ofcourse, We get the biggest gains in the Tech's and Semi's so we will put the terror of god into them to sell us their shares cheap.

>>
Robertcmavis asks: The '87 one day crash was followed by a brief respite then an upward movement and then a further decline before a gradual improvement. Do you visualize a duplication of that scenario?
Jim Cramer: yes
<<

Probebally is very low at this point we will follow the 87 crash, That time the little investors got all wiped out and so the institutions and speculators bought the dip. When they found out that the little guys didnt have any money to buy they dumped it taking the market lower. Slightly different this time..

>>
Odin3 asks: How far do you think the market will drop before it levels?
Jim Cramer: i don't think it will take out Tuesday's lows
<<

Maybe mondays lows.. I would be really surprised to see tuesdays lows again at this point. I am sure the s&p pits would be a dog house but this time around lots of money sitting in the side lines already and on top of it all theres a lot of foreign money sitting around as well..

>>
Sheldon7 asks: What's your outlook on tech stocks -- long and short term?
Jim Cramer: short term kind a tough, but there will be a year end tech rally
<<

Ah the miracles, done by the fuds to show just how great they do while the individual investor gets trashed..

>>
Richsim asks: Mr. Cramer, do you have any feel for when the market sill settle down. Possibly lst qty 98. Your comments sir.
Jim Cramer: No, sooner than that. Actually I am quite bullish for November
<<

Well thats when all the fuds that dumped in october starts buying back in. With 10-20% of the market in cash, they dont have a hell of a lot of time before it leaves without them.

>>
Vleal97 asks: Hey Jim, I'm a subscriber to The Street, just wondering, do you agree with Abbey Cohen, that the Dow will reach 10,000 by mid 98?
Jim Cramer: Yes, I am in the AJC camp. She's pretty good
<<

Ofcourse this will only happen if you let us buy all the shares we want very cheap like at DOW 6200 or so, then we will double it for you in an year.. THIS IS UTTERLY STUPID!!! IF THE DOW IS GOING TO 10000 in an year why the heck dont they buy it at this point rather than waiting for it to hit 6200??????? Ofcourse right now a lot of individual investors are holding shares so it might not look good that they made better gains than the fuds did..

I dont know if we will test the 6200's or not, With program selling and futures trading they can short and dump till it over whelms the buyers and take it pretty low. But to expect we will see 10000 in an year and every pro giving this kind of stupid assinine remark is to me utter bull.. With all the college grads doing their own billion dollar fud you never know whats happening but I bet the vast majority of individual investors doing their own thing might do better than the smart money since the smart money is having a harder and harder time trying to shake the tree loose..

Gottfried, I saw Jim Crame on the nightime Charley Rose show a few nights ago. He was saying that he did not like the semi's but now like the banking stocks and I believe real estate. He was stressing that HK would not have the resources to purchase equipment for the semi's. However, when I looked at the DW Banking, Savings and Loan, Insurance, Finance sectors at highs on 10/29/97 I see these sector dropping, respectively, Banking 94.40% to 76.40, Savings and Loan 92.60 to 79.80, Insurance 84.50 to 63.90, and Finance 68.10% to 53.60% on 10/8/97. Real Estate has not reversed down but has dropped from 84.00 to 81.70%.

Semi's have dropped to 20.80%, computers to 33.10, and software to 31.80%. Using the bell shape curve and the tendency to move to the mean whether you are up or down which sectors would you rather buy the
$$$$$$$sensitivity stocks as banking, etc. or the computer/semi's/software stocks? Statistically, it is quite clear to me! But, I am sure some brokers who are heavy in the $$$$$$$ would argue with me.

Just my opinion
