Natural change is something that we almost have the technology to do something about. Causing changes just because we can doesn't seem to be the brightest thing in the world.

How are the above two sentences not a contradiction?

BTW, last time I checked I had not heard of anyone TRYING to cause adverse changes in the climate.

CJ, > Natural change is something that we almost have the technology to do something about. Causing changes just because we can doesn't seem to be the brightest thing in the world. Denying it for purely political reasons is stupidity of the first water.

a) It's much easier to adapt to a changing climate than to turn back the tide. Something to keep in mind as the limo-riding bureaucrats in Copenhagen try to advocate the latter.

b) If you can find someone who wants to "cause changes just because we can," please show me. Otherwise, you're making s--t up. As usual.

c) I see MANY more people using the global warming hysteria for purely political reasons than those denying it for purely political reasons. You might want to take the plank out of your own eye before focusing on the speck in the other guy's eye.
