I also wrote how/why I think they qualify but you seem to have skipped over that content for something of your own.

Yes, I saw some of your commentary:

"Again you miss your mark and with typical irony. No body finds arrogance to be an attractive characteristic but both of these individuals come across as 'oh shucks, I'm just common folk'; which is far from any definition of the word arrogant I've come across. And, working hard to persuade people to get on board with your platform is practically the definition of what all politicians do."

Apparently, you know very little about Palin but two weeks ago she left people who had waited hours in the cold to have her sign their copy of her book without an explanation. The bus simply drove off. People were incensed. If you think that's decent behavior and an indication she thinks of herself as common folk, then frankly you are a little off.

>> Do you think commuting the sentence of a man with a long criminal record so he can go out and kill 4 cops is a sign of decency?

I would say clemency is an act of mercy Governors can use when convinced such an act would serve better than a particular punishment. I don’t consider acts of mercy indecent. I am reasonably sure Huckabee didn’t grant clemency to anyone expecting them to commit heinous crimes as you suggest and that if a do over was possible Huchabee would not grant clemency to the 16 year old with a 108 year sentence.

It is indecency when you do it with the frequency Huckabee did. So far two of the clemencies he granted have led to more murder and rapes. Anyone who had read the record of Clemmons would know the guy was incorrigible. But someone told Huckabee that Clemmons had found Jeee.zuz. That's all it took. And now 4 good cops are dead and many children without their mother or father this XMAS.

Arrogance comes before the fall.

I suggest you learn more about the people you proclaim decent before making such a proclamation.
