Actually we're pretty cozy. Our house is pretty well built and snug. The stud walls are 6 inches thick instead of four, which helps. The pipes are in the midsections, where they belong.

It's supposed to get down to about -5 tonight, I've heard.

My furnace rarely shuts off lately. We had a wind chill of -6 yesterday. I haven't even checked it this morning, but it's colder than yesterday. We're supposed to break out of this deep freeze by the weekend. GW has brought on a very early and cold winter, so far.
