We put in a high efficiency furnace 5 years ago. It has these ultra violet light bulbs in it that is supposed to eat up all the microscopic particles that run through it. (I know this is not very technical, but I don't know how else to describe it.)

Anyway...........I have noticed I have very little dust in the house during the winter, and since dusting is my least favorite chore............I'm kinda liking this.

;)

If you want an opinion don't go with the 90+ percent efficiency. The 85 or 88 is A: Less expensive, B: Much more reliable, I promise you at least one breakdown a year on the 95ers and C: The difference in operating cost doesn't make sense to justify the much higher maintenance costs. The 88 will still vent through pvc and is a much better option.

Oh and finally when they tell you that your 95 will run at 95% efficiency they are stretching the truth. It will when all is perfect. Most often it's going to run closer to 90 and the 88 will truly run 88.
