MOT - can compete with iPhone internationally. MOT had good brand recognition internationally particularly Asia. Think Droid will sell well in China. MOT can split off the set top business easily. They bought into some of this business earlier this decade. I can not recall the name of the major set top box maker they bought in San Diego around 2002. Always thought this was mistake. Hard to integrate into MOT culture. MOT can grow. Their biggest burden has always been the old Motorola culture. Appears executive now running their phone division can revive MOT cell phone business.
