I've always liked Bozeman. Also, it's a college town, so you have the benefits to the community that go along with that.

Check out the elevation down Bozeman way. The summers are short there. I think I would like it.

I saw a spot on Fox about Hayfork, a formerly logging community in northern California. The timber industry is dead, and is being replaced by legal marijuana farms. Most of the population does not like that at all. One lady said the people who deal in that take up the parks to do their business and smoke while they're doing it, so the kids can't play.

We might be headed this way if pot is legalized nationally. I have mixed feelings about it. If potheads develop an entitlement to public benefits it could be a very bad thing for the rest of us.

And then there is the Galitan Gateway leading into Yellowstone. Land is very expensive in that area.
