Are level II quotes worth it? So far yes. They kept me from making a trade which would have ended up above market by a point because I could see the queue and could kill the order. Unfortunately I got greedy so I didn't make the trade 2 1/2 points lower. You know what happens when you see the chart moving lower!!! However I'm also learning other things from them, such as not to trade on the open if the marketmakers have set the price above the previous close. You can watch the manipulation as they dump their inventory. I've just begun my studies and need a good book on the subject.
