So if they do have evidence of absence, that evidence is suppressed as intended as described in the emails. Funding for such investigators wouldn't get past the first funding hurdle which has a sign over it: "Are you a true, cross my heart and hope to die, Global Warm-Monger, willing to hunt any data proving its truth and ignore any bad weather which harms the environment or data base?"
