I'm interested in water companies - Southern California in particular. CLCI came onto my radar screen and I spent some time.

There are special problems here, but if you look at their filings, you find fields of red flags.

I continue to follow it because the class of candidates is limited. From a value standpoint, most anything can have 'value' at a price. Where you have an area that is dominated by governmental agencies, there will frequently be mispricing of assets. I think CLCI is a symptom of this. There is no real market to discipline it. Opportunities seem to arise in these sorts of situations.

I have bot and sold this idea a few times, but am now buying. I hope early December brings XMAS early. Mr Chen seems to know a lot and I respect his work, and have nothing to say one way or the other, excpet I just botg a large position at $7 1/8 for a short term trade, and I don't trade a whole bunch.
