If you think that playing into the Mullahs' hands and giving them exactly what they want is 'good strategy'... than I've got another thing for you.

(The Mullahs are LOSING their grip on absolute power right now. What they are praying for is some excuse they can use to blame all their troubles on the US and 'Western devils'. Don't give it to 'em and they will eventually be hung by their heels by an outraged Iranian citizenry.)

Dissing Bush: Volume 19,789
By Monica Crowley (bio)

Barack Obama has never missed an opportunity to slam President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, either directly with condemning words of his own, or through his Alinsky-esque surrogates. Not only is it graceless and tasteless, it’s also grossly inappropriate for a sitting President.

This week, during his speech on Afghanistan, he once again threw President Bush under the bus by citing Iraq as the major cause of “substantial rifts between America and much of the world.”

In other words: “Because Bush defended American interests and punched back after we were attacked, I’m left with an international pigpen! Thanks a lot, W. Thanks for “standing up for America!” You see what a mess that made!”

Vice President and Official Obama Administration Nincompoop, Joe Biden, took a harder line against Bush yesterday. From BarackObama.com comes this classy nugget:

“It’s a clean break from the failed Afghanistan policy of the Bush administration, and a new, focused strategy that can succeed.”

More gracelessness, and another lie.

Here’s an inconvenient truth: Barack Obama CHAIRED the Senate’s sub-committee dealing with the Afghan war from 2006 to 2008. How many hearings on the war did he hold?

Zero.
