Earl Woods was well known for promoting and even deifying his own son. It went to ridiculous extremes, as you just found out. (Same with Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena Williams.) I had no idea. I rarely listened to Earl. And when I did, he never talked like that. Are you learning about this now?* Yes. In fact, I think most people don't know about this side of Tiger and his father. I admit I am not much into golf and only watch the occasional match. But frankly, I don't think many people read Gold Digest......even if they are into golf.
