I have never joined an investors' club. Years ago I brought Canadian Oil Sands Trust to my sister's attention and she proposed it at her club. Voted down, partly on environmental grounds. It has gone up 400% since then plus many large payouts. Luckily I had trading privileges in her IRA and put her into it. I don't dare tell anyone --or hardly anyone--that I am in gold.

Sounds like an interesting turn of events at your meeting. The fact that they wanted to buy GDXJ after they voted against it is kind of bullish. It might be indicative of the more positive sentiment towards gold among main stream investors. Maybe it's time that I bought it too.<G>
