Enjoyed your post.

I often mention my interest in gold when I find an opportunity. Generally I don't get much reaction... as if most folks don't want to be bothered to try to understand. Now that it is over $1000 some mention it to me when they hear that it's making new highs. They express an interest, but they don't actually buy. Maybe they are waiting for the mania phase. <g>
