Mang - your Barrons post was very informative. I'm thinking about 3Com longterm. What are your thoughts?

That sounds about right. Also, First Call is a good source for graphical representation of the expected growth for 3COM. They show 28%, and then 30%, and so on. There is absolutely nothing bad shown in there expectations for 3COM.
That is why I am puzzled by the tremendous downturn in COMS price.
