So I guess in some instances we want people to interfere deeply in our private lives. What about folks who don't get enough sleep? Turns out that can be a huge safety hazard. Maybe we should be testing people randomly for their alertness... newscenter.philips.com You make a leap from something residual in the system to injuries- that just isn't logical. Being under the influence at work is one thing, but I will never be for testing that ropes in what people do on their free time. I think that's right next door to a police state- and I'm not interested. I know the police state can be a fun idea when it's your pet idea that's being policed- but it's important to remember that when you open that door, a lot of other stuff may come in.
