I join you in your support for Terry and general disappointment over tne many negative comments now surfacing on this thread. Negative facts are one thing, negative "facts", another.

Thanks for the kind words, Kaena. I know there are a lot of people like you out there that follow this thread and believe in this story but don't post. I get a lot of e-mail from them. This thread is dominated by a dozen or so posters that are universally negative on the story and, particularly Bema management. Somehow they think Bema and Star should have held their lofty levels even with gold falling $70 and the Bre-X scam. That's just not realistic, but this bear marekt won't last forever and these stocks will be back.

Kaena.
well said. All of us who hold shares are a little bit disapointed in this short-term outcome. but we can see the up-side. we like what management is doing to bring CC to production, and we agree that in the long haul, all will be well.
what i don't understand, realy, is all this bema-bashing going on. most of these people own this stock. if you were shorting the stock and wanted to get some at a much lower price, then on one hand, it sort of makes sense. i'm not sure its legal, but at least you can see the strategy. others here, i'm sure, are just in to bashing things and people because.... it makes them feal good... it gives them something to do... its the kind of people they are. oh well, it takes all kinds. these folks sort themselves out in the long haul and it becomes more apparent who they are. me, i'll stick with the facts. i'm not going anywhere right now i quess, and someday i'll be a lot better off with this paper than any of these folks would imagine.
one thing that comes to mind, and i offer this as a general speculation: just how many people out there do read this thread? is that number big enough to be influenced by what they read here? is the market in some small way influenced by what those people read here? is this a chicken and egg thing? oh well, what do i know about markets anyway.
happier times, and keep posting.
