A little more info. about the upcoming Siemens/Sandisk announcement:

This new "digital phone card" that can be inserted into today's computers will also be compatible with tomorrow's cellular phones and pagers. This will enable an individual to carry around his personal phone card and use it in any device he needs: his cell phone, his pager, his personal computer, his travel computer, a rented/borrowed device, etc.

Each card will have one established phone #. So, you'll receive one phone bill per phone card. You may choose to have one phone card for business and one for personal use.

My feeling is that this technology could be more significant to the industry than Iomega's technology was. And if SNDK's stock price appreciates half as much as Iomega's did in '95 and '96, I'll be a happy camper.
