Greetings Ronald and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ, <<If you cant accept Jesus as a separate human being and an entity then how will you recognise Him when He returns. >>, For the sake of time the first part of your question was answered by Jane when she quoted John 1:1 and 1:14 to describe the triune God in whom all born again believers are joined to as the Body of Christ. I find it very hard to try and understand with my finite mind an infinite God. I see in many places in the Old Testament God is inferring to His triune nature, examples are : Gen. 1, Isaiah 48:16..... and now the Lord God has sent Me, and His Spirit. I also believe in the triune God and that God the Father has a human heart and that a glorified Man rules all heaven and earth, that man is Christ Jesus Our Lord and Saviour. To answer the second part of your question please refer to 1 John 3:1-2, I understand this scripture to teach believers that when He appears we to shall be changed ( redemption of our mortal bodies ) and will understand and recognise Him just as He is. Please look at Luke 9:28-36 as another example, when Jesus was transfigued and Moses and Elijah appeared with Him, Peter , James and John who were asleep and when they awoke Peter suggested making three tabernacles, how did Peter recognise Moses and Elijah them being dead centuries. Possibly Peter received a foretaste of His total redemption when he made this statement. May Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ reveal Himself to the hungry heart and be glorified in all things. Grace and Peace to you Ronald and the Israel of God. Robert

Greetings Ronald, Further to my last post to you, please take a look at John 3:13 (NKJ), " No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven." Jesus is speaking about Himself here to Nicodemus but at the same instance, declares that, even then He ( the Son of Man ) is in heaven. Oh , How great Thou art the One and only triune God. Robert

Ronald, God doesn't care how much scripture you can quote...
only how much of it you can live.
God bless
