:>) Last paragraph was the whole point. One small step for "American energy independence"

Well, there you go. A maybe became for sure we did,and somebody came to your house starting a ripple that went both ways; somebody lowered their inventory and eventually somebody will start making new ones, a few folks worked a few hours or days they wouldn't have, somebody hauled it away and got it into the recycling employment stream; if no more than loading it on a ship to China. Big multiplier effect because they got you from a maybe to now, and only a little gvt money actually spent.
I don't want contribute to you telling everybody you know that the turn-around is all because of you, but there was a sci-fi short story which I can't find cuz I don't know it's name, in which a depression was started by one family deciding not to buy a dishwasher or take a weekend vacation or something; lots of ripples. Eventually the gvt figured it out, gave him money, told him to go buy it, and things were AOK after the ripples went the other way.

I'm going thru that debate now; should I buy a new refrigerator?
