On that scale Krugman is far more centrist liberal than anything else.

Even though much of Europe is socialist leaning, their stimulus packages look anemic next to ours. AND Krugman wanted a stimulus package something like three times as big as congress approved. Sooooo how does that make him a centrist liberal? That would arguable make congress far right liberal I guess? No way.

here is a chart of stimulus packages for various European countries - and China and japan. Now remember that Krugman wanted one three times as big as that passed by Congress. So magnify our stimulus on the chart by three to get where Krugman wanted!
