You are pretending that the CRU was the only group working in the area and had control of all the data. Which is not even vaguely close to the truth.


It is true they had original collected source data they digitized (with or without augmentation) and then threw away original paper recordings/logs. In addition they did not share the data to the public and FOI requests for the data went unanswered and is probably why someone hacked or released the data from the inside.

Yes, keep up the defensive attitude. Ignore the fact that the zealots want to pursue the hackers, as if they represent a greater threat to humanity than Osama bin Laden.
