I've had problems with my ears for years - I'm totally deaf in my left ear and have 60-70% in the right. Vertigo is something that just visits me from time to time and I've learned to live with it.

This time though it was much more severe and I didn't recognize the symptoms at first or I could have fended it off before it took off. There are certain "exercises" you can do to offset the effect. I think MM has described them here before. I just didn't catch it in time so I'm pretty much unable to move for awhile. Have to keep my head in one position. It will go away but it sure is a bother.

Losing the kitty breaks my heart. I can only hope, but she has always had a hankering to get out and explore. Don't know if she'll come back. She's never been outside in 5 years.

Now the electrician is breaking through walls trying to find the loose wire. That means when he leaves, the drywall guy has to come in and then the painter.

I've taken Xanax, then I'm going to find my biggest glass and fill it with vodka and ice. I know, I know, don't mix the two. So I'll just pretend I'm drinking the vodka.

Tomorrow will be a better day.
