Sun's Solaris 2.6 which is already available is year 2000 compliant.
Sun also has fixes for earlier releases. I don't see the year 2000 problem as being a major issue for Sun. It's much more of a problem for old Cobol programs written up to over twenty years ago which are still running on mainframes.
Just my humble opinion.
