you cover alot of ground with a quick question.
I have owned this stock since nov 95 so I do not consider
it a short term play for me. I understand however that there
are a couple (million) people who do trade stocks on a very short
term basis. I do not think of this as a short term play as my group
owns in excess of 100k shares with a profit so far of approx 150-200%.
I cannot answer with respect to the bio-med stocks as a group question
as I do not trade groups or sectors, only indvidual stocks as I see fit. My mindset is more to the point of "exactly how much do you want
from a stock anyway?" A profit of approx 175% in 2 years is OK in
my book. As to where the price will go after nov 11, 1 3/4 feels very
low. I guess that it would retain about 70% of the gain that it will make in thew next two weeks (gut feel and T.A.) if it drifts back down. Who knows, like I said before sell on news. It is a stock market
phenom that defies logic sometimes, hold this stock for 5 more years
and you could see 40 per share, the technology could be there, short
term prices are not normally dictated by fundementals but market forces such as greed and fear.
