And we went and installed a bigger and better corrupt government.

And you suggest sending them back to the stone age and endless tribal warfare between rival warlords? Or permitting them to be subjugated by religious fanatics and brainwashed in their madrassas and Mosques to eventually martyr themselves in some suicide bombing against innocent people??

Did Afghanistan have internet? If our government had its way, it would have censored our internet access.

Certainly not the overall population. But the leadership did. They used it to advertise their Taliban government. It's like Kim Jong Il in NK.. He LOVES the internet. Uses is all the time. But none of his subjects have it.

And the reason our government doesn't censor our internet is because we'd throw the bums out of office. I can see censoring child porn, or other illegal activities that would be just as illegal OFF the net. But censor our right to free speech and we'll use that vote to kick them all out of office.

The internet is one of the most democratizing technologies since the invention of ink and pen. And as we saw in the GW hacking/leak, it brought forth the fraud that was being perpetrated and now scientists are being held accountable.

True, however, too much of this gas becomes poison. We are cutting more tree than we are planting and we are pumping more gas than we used to. If we just can find a fine balance between the two, it will be great.

It ain't the trees Sarman.. It's the phytoplankton. Oceanic phytoplankton provide well over 40% of the total global photosynthesis and at least 50% of the total O2 output.

But we've seen a 20-30% reduction in phytoplankton populations over the past 30 years, so it stands to reason that something else is preventing them from consuming that CO2 and proliferating, rather that decreasing.

I suggest you research Iron Fertilization and Planktos. Both queries should give you plenty of reading material.

Of course, when you kill all the Muslims, you need another boogyman to scare the population.

Geezus WEEPS!! That accusation is getting kind of old, don't you think? Unless you're saying that all Muslims are willing to use violence against others to spread their religion.

Are you saying that all Muslims are militants?
