I am telling we are doing it to them now. We pounded them to the stone ages, we are giving the Talibans the fuel to execute their agenda.

Oh.. you are SO FULL OF SH*T!! Get off your @ss and actually do some research. The majority of the fighting is taking place along the Pakistan border, but elsewhere there are development projects taking place.

usaid.gov (should be a video here that you should watch).

And what did the Taliban do about eliminating Polio, which was running rampant in Afghanistan? We're on the verge of eliminating it completely, as we did long ago here in the US.

And btw, USAID works closely with the US Military on these humanitarian missions, if only for the physical security and escorts. It's GOOD to have soldiers and humanitarian aid perceived as one and the same.

No better friend, no worse enemy.. That's the mantra we need to proclaim.

Oh.. and btw, I know we have "ugly Americans". I had a couple of them working with me in Central America. They don't last long when you tell the commander that these people are putting the success of the mission at risk. The commanders either read them the riot act, or ship them out pretty quick.
