I've said that for years. At what point did the Constitution become a political thing as they constantly vote along party lines so to speak.

How can anyone respect the SCourt when in case after case they can't even agree amongst themselves what the law says?

The founders were wise when they set up the three branches of government, but I don't think they counted on the agenda-politics that we have wallowed in since the 60s.

In my view, if the SCOTUS was operating as intended, all the judgments would be close to unanimous, since all they have to do is determine whether the law being challenged in each case is constitutional or not.

Am I missing something here?
