Amazing how quickly people have begun to realize their mistake....

Bush closes the gap

Public Policy Polling:

Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited. The closeness in the Obama/Bush numbers also has implications for the 2010 elections. Using the Bush card may not be particularly effective for Democrats anymore, which is good news generally for Republicans and especially ones like Rob Portman who are running for office and have close ties to the former President.

From the actual report from PPP --

"By a 50-44 margin voters say they prefer having Obama as President to George W. Bush. Nevertheless 20% already say they would like to see Obama impeached based on his actions so far, including 35% of Republicans.

Imagine, Bush's approval rating DOUBLED in the year since he left office in spite of all the Obama bashing and lying and blaming.

Ted, > Whether its temporary or not no one knows.....but we do know that temps have spiked in the last 30 years and there is a good chance Man is the cause.

The globe has been cooling over the past 10 years.

There goes the whole "global warming is gravity" nonsense.

Al Gore's comments were made specifically for ignorant people like yourself. This is not science. This is politics. And you are playing your part like a good activist should.
