You'd think if the proxy temps for measured temps from 1960 on don't match they'd consider revising the proxy formula to align before they chart the proxy temps from 1850-1960 to be sure the proxy is valid or in the ball park.

I think there is issue about what the proxy formula should be. For the proxy stick they used two differant temperature bias's. I'm thinking the proxy data should have been warmer across the board? It wasn't just a case of smoothing them into the real temperature line.
