>> Obama's job performance ratings will catch back up with his likeability factor.

Could be, you never know.

But it is very difficult to envision. Everything he's done has turned to shit. The one thing he's done that people seem to approve of is the Afghanistan policy, which is essentially the same as what GWB had planned to do (except for the deadline).

Look.......you are extraordinarily transparent. And I understand.....you are trying to be me during the Bush years. But the truth is, unlike Bush, Obama ain't making a lot of mistakes.......esp. when you consider the horrendous mess he inherited.

And oh yeah, people loved his cash for clunkers deal and the tax credit for first time buyers; Geithner is gaining more and more respect for what he does, Clinton is impressive as S of S and the rest of the world considers Obama a needed breath of fresh air. And hopefully, soon he will be the first president to actually bring needed health care reform to the US.

People are furious about health care. Everyone now acknowledges the efforts to close GTMO are a mistake. As the trials of terrorists in NYC move closer, the protests are going to grow; people are furious about it. The massive spending -- a trillion dollars in pork bbl spending has angered all but the most extreme liberals. And the chronic failure to take responsibility for his actions, constantly laying blame on his predecessor, makes people feel as though they've elected an adolescent.

You need to look at the polls on health care reform. The public option remains very popular.
