"the premier thread of SI"...

Let's see, that is the thread with 5 posts in 3 days, excluding the moderator?

The thread where the moderator thinks all his posters are "idiots and simpletons"?

Message 26155016 -looks like they left it.

The thread where the moderator has 53 ignores? Which, btw, does clean-up the threads substantially.

And the moderator, well i could go on but it should be obvious.Until TJ returns there is little of interest or value there.

And if TJ doesn't return, here's a penny for Charon.

'only on the premier thread of SI' - sure, that would work fine, it's been quiet lately - Subject 51596

Since it's to do with a specific project though, seems like the project's thread could play a part somehow, if only to make it easy to suss out the general idea - Subject 57907

In brief - brasilian/brit outfit listed canuck
- holds massive resource K-content rock, will make Amazon-appropriate fertiliser
- currently working out process, field testing, sourcing natgas, drilling off to get it 43-101 but probably more for grade consistency imho [resource has been long known], also depth for mine plan
- low capex estimate, 10-20% that of start-up brine-K operations
- fairly tight share structure, good insider holdings of common, no warrants out
- Brasil currently imports near all its potash, local soils need lots

Import substitution should give political advantage, being surrounded by your market and making a more appropriate product should give natural advantages ... the idea is not new, people have been using greensand for K-content for centuries, it's considered 'organic' input, these people are just out to make it more appropriate to local conditions than the imported K-salts, and cheaper as well

Political risk i wonder about - are they going to get ripped off? ... it looks to be getting riper as takeover target as they knock off each of the uncertainties they're working on, it's just that sometimes in some places the magic of government power works against shareholders, especially when they are from elsewhere

Feels good to shuck moderator job eh, i've found that ... sometimes work a lot and get edgy too, just not around any computers, thankfully ... life goes on, i still remember fondly this thread in its early years, excellent broad mix of posters, lots of energy and thought, nothing is going to bring it back just the way it was, and of course those times are gone anyway ... part of what happens maybe, is that the novelty of the internet wears off at different rates for different people
