It's beautiful white, cold winter here. No bears, no bugs, and no lawn to mow. Last night the entire city bowl was locked in dreary fog. The view from the foothills above was a vast sea of cotton, with a distant volcano streaming a forty mile pennant of steam in silhouette along the blazing horizon. One of those primordial cosmic moments.
