Yes, I saw that as well. The tradeoff would be higher expenses for the fund. They are dependent on the insurance coverage of the Royal Canadian Mint. That is a concern for all of them (GLD, CEF, GoldMoney, etc.) though, I would think. I mean, GoldMoney is insured by Lloyd's but from what I have read in the news, Lloyd's may have some issues themselves. Who insures the insurers? Who insures the insurers of the insurers? PHYS looks at first glance to be an improvement over GLD, imo, but still not a substitute for direct ownership.
