Jeff, TIm & Gary: We need to recognize that ASND being targeted by LU or COMS is purely a rumour of some guys who want to get out of this stock at a decent level.Just because they hired a guy who has experience in M&A doenst mean this company is going to be acquired. Give me a break. ASND hired this guy because his experience in M&A would help in assimilating CSCC in a smoother manner.

What the management did two to three months ago is indispicable. They mislead their investors and after a week filed a pisspoor form 8K. Then a long silence. Then at the end they said they will not meet their #s. This is a classic case to punish the stock and throw the management. I am not surprised if their could be a law-suit for such action. CEO then openly entered into argument with analysts and challenged that he doesnt work for shareholders etc., etc.,. Now the stock has come down. It doesnt mean that it will not go down again. If I were a pension fund manager with large position , I will dump this in NY minute. If I were an acquirer of this company, I will be very cautious. I wouldnt acquire this company unless it shows continuous strong quarter with good order book or strong performance of the technology I am looking for. This is mainly Management lost its CREDIBILITY. Period. Otherwise I wouldnt take a gamble (as an acquirer) and then have a risk of explaining my shareholders if things go wrong.

I know many of us are hurt and is still licking our wounds. But we have to be objective.

Regards

Kumar.
