Well, I happened to catch by accident a little of "Face the Nation" I think it was this morning with Abby Cohen talking among others. I never saw such a deadpan blather of cliches about the stock market. After all this is over maybe she can find a job telling tourists how to find the Empire State Building. So as not to sound sexist let me hasten to add that the most courageous public bear by far is Gail Dudack. Do you know of anyone who has actually spoken up on national TV besides her? I keep imagining myself being interviewed. I would say calmly, "The only people in their right minds are those who have sense enough to panic."
