There is lots worse than medicare reimbursement, for example medicaid, and "self-pay" (ie, no pay)

The "premium" the commercial insurers pay to providers over medicare is not that impressive,
perhaps 10-20% more at best, and it hasn't gone up much in the past 5 years, ie no "COLA" increases.

As a provider, it's nothing compared to the standard 10-25% premium raise each year the same insurers
have been charging me as an employer/patient.
