Patrick, lets leave it that companies and individuals act in their own interest... with internationalism, sales, profits, and stock bonuses running ahead of patriotism and what happens to the good citizens of Topeka and Trenton we can expect all sorts of interesting trading revelations as time goes by. Great graphics...

In the end we'll see how much revenue comes from trading options and how much comes from business. If MSFT were to make 350 mill a year trading options that's small compared to the overall business and credible to the idea of buying back shares and issuing emloyee incentives. On the other hand is XYZ in the semi business, comes in with a 50 million profit with 90% of it from options I'd wonder what they're selling.
