Note that the snow in Houston last week was a long way south of that glaciation. So it will be cold [in winter] over the whole USA.

Reglaciation will happen quickly because snow cover can happen in a single snow fall and albedo is rapidly increased for the area leading to further cooling in adjacent areas.

A few years will be enough to show reglaciation under way. This winter will be just a lead in. The next sun spot minima and 2020 will really put the frighteners on people. Al Gore should have got plenty of loot from Global Warming by then if they can pull it off. The Copenhagen jamboree is not going to be the slam dunk it was hoped though. Too many politicians are saying "Whoa Nellie!"
