I thought Netbooks didn't have DVD drives?

Netbooks don't have anything but a hard drive, but remote DVDs can be plugged in to the USB port.

My post wasn't very clear. Costco offered a bundle which included a portable DVD drive and a mouse. That's the DVD that failed, although the Netbook was fine.

I took it back and got an identical Netbook without a bundle. Then I added a DVD and mouse from another store.
