From my cc notes SVG effectively refused to answer several of the production questions. Cary is correct with 35 bays now but expanding to 50 and also expanding Wilton Conn optics shop and of course the tinsley acquisition. 14 units shipped this quarter if you count the 1 repair. Of these 75% were .25 capable up from 50% last quarter and later commented that 75% MII and 25% MIII's. Also believed all tools had the "new monostage" that provides 20% increase in throughput (this is the first I've heard of this, any comments??). Russell also commented that the heavy construction going on hampered production somewhat.

The above info was provided, however when questioned about 98 capacity directly and more specifically their goal for 98 Russell actually laughed on several occasions and refused to directly answer other than to merely say analysts estimates are for 55-75. He did not say he agreed or disagreed. One questioner then continued and asked if he should assume then that SVGL had no production goal to which Russell again laughed and said simply of course we do.

Management also indicated they have had no laser availability problems and expect no problems with their German glass supplier.

Also one analyst asked a series of questions to try to narrow down who the new Korean customer was. Apparenlty the new customer is not working with them on the 193nm program. Does anyone have a list of 193nm collaborators??? I think I read somewhere Samsung was supporting 193(can anyone verify) so that would mean the new customer is likely either Hyundai or LG?????

Cary,

Thanks. Do you recall whether ILC Technology was mentioned as the arc lamp manufacturer?
