<Off topic>

Peter - thanks for the backgrounder. I had noticed that Niman has had about 4000 posts since May of last year.

And, mostly on the same thread, 'Andrew H.' has had 6000+ posts since the beginning of this year (20 posts a day!!!). Any chance these two being the same person? I can't understand when either of these two, especially Henry Niman - who claims to be a professor - has time to work. How are they able to post messages throughout the day?

Anyway, I'm more interested in your opinion of Niman's view of Ligand. Are you able to separate the wheat from the BS? For instance, there was some recent discussion about Alzheimer's and estrogen - any thoughts? CW

hey -yo-. Your use of assumptions astounds me. You're way too clever to make the conclusions you made.

I was a very gung-ho for GIFS, uninformed idiot. I was also the lone voice in the wilderness (well, Craig Crawford came around to bash heads once in a while) who unceasingly screamed, argued, ranted and damn near reached my hand down the internet's throat trying to get people to see that GIFS was a fraud. If I was enthusiastic about GIFS as a prospect, I was doubly angry about GIFS as a fraud.

I lost $800+. That's very small change in a market that gives and takes 3-6 points a day on many, many stocks.

As for being laid to waste, that's really a cute image. Didn't happen.

I quit my job and did a lot of trading. I discovered that I don't have the mentality to do it for a living.

I stopped posting so heavily after a few months of trading for income. As I used my poor little ole 90 MHz for level 2, news, trading, etc. I was overwhelmed with information. Rather literally. I found that getting too involved with a stock jinxed me.

When I started using words like "jinx" to describe my trading, I quit.

Hope you are on to bigger and better things as well, Peter.

Regards, and watch out for those assumptions. I'm back to honest work.
